3 C Kennels is owned and operated by Danny and Laura Baxley.  We have been married since 1992. We are going into our 19th year of marriage and going strong. We have been breeding and raising German shepherds for 17 years, and have  been around them all of our lives. Danny's family and mine have  always had a loyal German shepherd around to guard the family. That is the reason that we continue with this wonderful breed. We have been blessed with three beautiful children, who range in age from 10-6-5 years old. They are involved with the German shepherds adults, and the puppies just about everyday. We believe in early socialization when our puppies are born. The children start touching and loving on the puppies from the beginning of life. That is your foundation to making a great German Shepherd. Danny and I raise our children and our puppies on a small southern farm, where we raise our own vegetables. At 3 C Kennels our dogs and puppies are raised on cedar & pine shavings, not cement. After much research we have found that cement  floors increases the risks for joint and feet related issues. Plus the shavings keeps us from using strong chemicals, and they smell better as well! I don't know about you but I believe smelling cedar and pine is much better than bleach and chemicals! Our dogs also agree with us as they are the ones having to live in the kennels. We believe in using natural products as well. In this environment we are raising the most family oriented German Shepherds out there. The thing about our puppies and dogs is that your family can run around and cut up with these dogs, then turn around & put them in a show (given the right training). They will have all of the physical abilities, but it's left to you to give them the right training for what you want.
